Sprint and T-Mobile are offering nice deals for iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus buyers
If you’re willing to rent an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, both Sprint and T-Mobile are offering some strong deals for new and existing customers.
First up through Sprint, if you trade in your old iPhone or other eligible device, you can snag a basic 16GB iPhone 6s for $15 per month or the 16GB edition of the larger handset for $22 per month. If you don’t trade in your old handset, that will increase to $22 per month and $26 per month, respectively, for the entry-level handsets.
No upfront payment is required. Sprint will also pay off any phone contracts from other carriers.
Easily the main draw of Sprint’s program is the ability to receive a new iPhone model every year.
Sprint’s pricing structure is on a 22-month lease. If you finish that term without trading up, you can either return the device or pay the remaining purchase option price. If you cancel service or the lease early, the remaining payments are due and you must return the device or pay the purchase option.
T-Mobile is also offering a $125 discount on both the entry level iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for users willing to sign-up for the Jump On Demand plan and its 18-month lease structure. With that plan, you can upgrade your phone up to three times per year.
You can snag a 16GB iPhone 6s for $20 per month or a 16GB iPhone 6s Plus for $24 monthly. Those introductory prices are only available for a limited time, but will last for the entire length of your lease. More information can be found on T-Mobile’s site.
Verizon and AT&T aren’t offering any substantial deals on their installment plans. But if you’re interested in buying AppleCare+, Apple has unveiled its new iPhone Upgrade Program as well.
The handsets will officially hit the market later this month on Friday, Sept. 25. You can preorder starting early tomorrow morning at 12:01 a.m. PDT. If you’re interested, take a look at our comprehensive preorder guide.
Along with 3D Touch technology and a faster A9 processor, both handsets offer a number of camera improvements including support for the interesting Live Photos feature.
Each iPhone will be available in four different colors – silver, gold, space gray, and a new rose gold.
