Two great apps for kids, Toca Life: City and Sago Mini Boats, receive nice updates
As we’re nearing a long holiday weekend – at least here in the United States – we’ve got two great apps that parents and their children should check out. Both the popular Toca Life: City and Sago Mini Boats have just received nice updates.
Explore life in the big city
First up, Toca Life: City has just received its first major update that is sure to delight. Made for ages 5 and under, the app allows kids to explore a fun and bustling metropolis.
Along with four new characters, version 1.1 of the app ushers in a new location – the Theatre. Players can raid the costume closet to try out fun hats, change outfits, and even play in front of their favorite backdrop.
Another interesting new feature is a screen recording option. Kids can record up to a two-minute video of what’s happening in the game and their own voice to share with friends and family.
Also the new Life Weekly content channel will present videos and tips for players on how to maximize their fun.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Toca Life: City can be purchased now for $2.99 from the App Store.
Go boating for free
Another fun app designed for kids 5 and under, Sago Mini Boats, has just sailed to version 1.1.
Kids get the chance to pack their bags and sail with Harvey the dog. After picking their boat, kids can stop along the way to meet some sea creatures, share ice cream, collect treasure, and more.
The update brings five great new boat choices for our furry friend, everything from a police boat to a bathtub.
Sago Mini Boats is also a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now for free for a limited time.
