Like many other retailers this year, online giant Amazon hasn’t exactly waited until Black Friday to start trotting out discounts on the usual slate of electronics and more. In early November, the company unveiled its Black Friday Deals Store.
And earlier today, the company announced its “Eight Days of Holiday Deals” that will kick off this Friday, Nov. 20 and end a week later. As always, some deals should attract anyone with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Here’s a sample:
$25 off the Amazon Fire TV
$49 off a Sonos Two-Room Streaming Music Starter Set
Jawbone UP3, $99
Up to 70 percent off selected SanDisk memory cards and USB flash drives
$50 off the Samsung SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit
Just to note, the products will be offered with those sale prices sometime during the eight-day period. So you’ll have to keep a watch on the site or take advantage of the “Watch A Deal” feature that will notify you on a mobile device when a specific deal is live.
Amazon Prime members will receive a 30-minute early access window on the “majority” of the deals.
You’ll also want to download the official Amazon app. Starting on Thanksgiving – Thursday, Nov. 26 – and continuing through Wednesday, Dec. 9, there will be more than 150 deals only available through the app. Select the “App Only Deals” tab. The app is designed for the both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad and is free.
Earlier today, my colleague Bryan M. Wolfe also provided some thoughts on what to expect on Black Friday at your local Apple Store. Much like in 2014, Apple should be offering iTunes gift cards with select purchases of an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. We’ll definitely let you know when Apple officially announces its deals.
And stick with us as we will definitely be highlighting other Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
