Adobe now lets you make your Voice heard on your iPhone

Post-PC Era
January 21, 2016

Since its launch in May 2014, Adobe Voice has been available only on iPad. Well, that is until now, seeing as Adobe has just updated the quick-and-easy storytelling app to be compatible with iPhone as well.

What is Adobe Voice?

Adobe Voice (formerly Ginger) helps you create animated video presentations in mere minutes, using story templates or beginning from scratch.

The app is so named because it allows you to use your voice, i.e., talk to your device, to tell the story you want to share. You can then match your spoken words with icons and images from the app’s built-in library, while cinematic motion and soundtrack are automatically taken care of by the app. Check it out:

Adobe Voice now on iPhone

Adobe Voice has just been updated to version 2.0. And lo and behold, Adobe Voice 2.0 finally sees the arrival of iPhone support.

This means that you don’t need an iPad to create stories with Adobe Voice. Just whip out your iPhone from your pocket whenever inspiration strikes and you’re good to go.

And if you do have multiple iOS devices, you can rest assured that your projects will be automatically synced to your Adobe account so that you can start on your iPhone or iPad and continue your story on another iPhone or iPad.

Stand out with Adobe Voice

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 8.0 or later, Adobe Voice 2.0 is available now on the App Store for free.

Adobe Voice comes with 2GB of Creative Cloud storage for free. A subscription to get 20GB of additional monthly storage on Creative Cloud is offered via in-app purchase for $1.99.

For Adobe’s “Stand Out” initiative, Adobe Voice is paired with Adobe Slate. Launched in April 2015, Adobe Slate is an iPad app that lets you combine words and images to tell stories in professionally designed magazine-style layouts. Take a look:
