Alarm : Clock Gains Much-Needed Update

Last month, we introduced readers to Alarm : Clock, the latest app from AppAdvice favorite Lifelike Apps. Regrettably, we found Alarm : Clock Version 1.0 less than exciting, saying it “left us wet.” As such, we recommended avoiding the app until it got better. Thankfully, a recent update has improved the iPad app substantially, meriting it a second look.

[Alarm : Clock] For iPad Leaves Us Wet

[Alarm : Clock] For iPad Leaves Us Wet

Lifelike Apps, Inc. recently unveiled their newest app for the iPad, [Alarm : Clock]. The $3.99 app is a follow-up to the company’s popular Alarm Clock’ app, first released in June 2010. While we found the original app innovative as well as practical, this one has left us scratching our heads. At its core, Alarm : Clock tries too hard to provide both “realism and customization options" and ends up over complicating and ruining the user experience.
