You would think that the CEO of a major media corporation like say, Time Warner Cable, would fully understand the power of AirPlay that is included in iOS devices and the upcoming version of Mac OS X. But you'd be wrong.

Visiting beta.icloud.com earlier today gave visitors a sneak peek at what Apple might be planning for their iCloud.com website. Included here for the first time were links to two iOS-centric apps.

Apple announced that they are extending, June 1, the deadline for developers to follow the new Mac App Store sandboxing requirements.

Yesterday, Apple surprised us all by announcing (via its website) OS X 10.8, “Mountain Lion.” This new iteration of OS X, Apple’s desktop operating system, is set to launch this summer and brings a whole load of iOS features to the Mac. Following the announcement, The Wall Street Journal talked with Apple CEO Tim Cook, discussing OS X Mountain Lion, its many new features and the operating system’s rather odd announcement.
