Adobe Photoshop for iPad Gains New AI-Powered Select Subject Feature
A little more than a month after officially arriving on the App Store, Adobe Photoshop for iPad has added a great new feature in its most recent update.
Powered by AI
The headlining addition in version 1.1 of the app is a new Select Subject options. Using AI, you can quickly and easily select the subject of an image.
To access the feature, long press or double-tap the select tool and choose Select Subject. It will then draw a selection tool around the main subject of the layer.
Adobe is also promising speed improvements when uploading and downloading files from the cloud.
Along with other bug fixes, the dark mode setting in the app will match what you’ve selected in the iPadOS settings.
You can download Adobe Photoshop now on the App Store for free. There is a 30-day free trial to try out the app. After that, it requires a $9.99 per month subscription.
Anyone with a qualifying Adobe Photoshop subscription can use the app for free.
The app is supported by most modern iPad models.
