Apple has recently posted new videos to YouTube detailing how to shoot and edit photos with the Portrait Lighting features exclusively on the iPhone 8 Plus and upcoming iPhone X.
An extension of the Portrait Mode first unveiled with the iPhone 7 Plus, Portrait Lighting provides a number of different artistic studio lighting effects to images. It uses the new A11 Bionic processor, a new image signal processor, and facial detection.
The effects can be chosen before snapping an image or afterward when editing.
While the videos only mention the iPhone 8 Plus the feature will also be available on the iPhone X which will officially land early next month. Preorder begin this week on Friday, Oct. 27.
