Apple's Latest TV Project is Space Drama from Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D. Moore
Apple is heading to the stars. According to a new report from Deadline, Apple has signed a straight-to-series order for a space drama from Battlestar Galactica’s Ronald D. Moore.
Here’s more from the report:
Created and written by Moore, along with Fargo co-executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, the untitled series explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. Tall Ship Prods.’ Moore and Maril Davis executive produce with Wolpert and Nedivi.
The drama is the third series ordered from Apple. Back in November, news hit that Apple outbid other streaming giants to develop a new scripted series starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. Currently untitled, the series will look at the look of morning show personalities. Both Witherspoon and Aniston will act as executive producers.
Apple is also developing an “Amazing Stories” anthology from executive producer Steven Spielberg.
