Apple Releases tvOS 10.2 Beta 4 to Registered Developers
Apple has just released tvOS 10.2 beta 4 to registered developers. Any eligible developer will have to connect the streaming TV box to a computer and update via iTunes or Apple Configurator.
Minor improvements
According to the release notes, here are all the minor changes:
- Accelerated Scrolling support for UIKit and TVMLKit apps.
- Device Enrollment Program support.
- Expanded Mobile Device Management support.
- Support for the VideoToolbox framework.
The new tvOS software should officially be released to the public sometime this spring along with iOS 10.3 and watchOS 3.2 – possibly coinciding with a rumored March Apple event that could see a whole new lineup of iPads, a red iPhone 7, and more.
Apple released the fourth beta version of both editions of that software yesterday. The new iOS software adds a great feature for AirPods owners. The Find my iPhone app has been updated to allow users to track down a lost AirPod by reporting each earbuds last known location.
On the watch side, that software sports two major new features – Theater Mode and SiriKit.
