Bizarre App of the Week: Heal Me!

iSilly: Wacky, Fun & Random
April 9, 2016

This week’s bizarre app will give you the power, the healing power that is. Heal Me! lets you play doctor by tending to wounds. Clean, treat, cover, and even irritate them if you’re in a bad mood. But first, you need to cause them. That’s right, you create the injury and then you take care of it. Odd? Let’s see what you think.

What is it?

What is it?

Pick your patient

There are several cartoon patients for you to pick from including presidential likenesses and food items. Perhaps you would like to start with a big patch of skin instead. The app has you covered there too.

You can also take a photo or choose an existing one from your library of someone you know. Surprised?

Cause some harm

Once you have found your victim, I mean, patient, you need to hurt them. Give them a cut, scratch, rash, blister, bruise, frostbite, or crazy vein problem.

You can zoom in on the photo before causing the wound as well. Or, stay zoomed out and give them a whole host of injuries. Why not, right?

Heal them up

First, select the cleaning tool for the wound. Will you use a sponge or a tube of lipstick? Then, pick a fitting treatment for it. You might need to stich it up or put cream on it. And finally, cover it with a bandage, or even glue, if you prefer.

When you are finished, you can save a photo of your talented work or share it on Facebook or Twitter.

What makes it bizarre?

What makes it bizarre?

Heal Me! is of course, for entertainment purposes only. It is not as if there is any realistic training or instructions for those interested in the medical field. And, this is not a game where you score points or level up. So, I am not completely sure of the overall purpose other than maybe to kill some time.

What really makes it strange though is that you can use a photo of someone you know. I suppose if you are interested in pretending to harm and then heal a friend or family member, then this is the app for you.

Is it worth a look?

Is it worth a look?

Should you take a look at Heal Me!? Again, if you are up for pretending to hurt someone and then making them better, sure, why not? And, since the graphics are not true-to-life, you do not have to feel overly evil about the whole thing. Plus, if using a photo of a person you know is just too much, but you still want to give it a shot, then just pick one of the several patients within the app.

Heal Me! is designed for iPhone and iPad. It is available for free on the App Store with in-app purchase options for additional patients, injury packs, and to remove the ads.
