A picture is worth a 1,000 words, especially if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to refresh your memory about something. We’ve probably all done it before – just whip out our iPhones and take a picture of something we need to remember.
Then when it’s time to find that picture, you’ll have to go searching and searching through your Camera Roll. But an interesting app, Nine, is looking to make creating a visual reminder list simple.
A snap away
Getting started with the app is a snap, literally. You can either take a photo or import from your Camera Roll something you’d like to remember.
A subtle filter is designed to bring out maximum clarity to the images. Each photo is also tagged with the location so you can recall where the image was taken, if necessary.
After giving the image a title, you’ll need to organize it by selecting one of nine different tags – Do, Go, Buy, Listen, Watch, Read, Note, Love, and Make. I really like the fact that the app can be used for more than just a simple to-do. Once something is completed, it will be archived and available to view in the future.
When you need to find something, you can select the tag or search by the label name. The detailed view allows you to zoom in on the picture, edit or share with friends, and even find it on the map.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Nine can be downloaded now on the App Store for $0.99.
While there is no shortage of to-do apps available to select from for your iPhone, Nine definitely stands out from the pack. Being able to create a visual reminder list is quick and easy. And the app itself is beautiful and well designed.
If you’re looking for a new way to handle task management, and are a visual thinker, definitely check out Nine. It’s highly recommended.
