With just under two weeks to go before Apple is expected to announce its next-generation iPhone, a familiar report has arrived.

Nikkei notes that the so-called “iPhone 7” could face supply constraints at launch due to issues with the device’s waterproof speaker and dual-camera module. Because of this issue, Yuanta Investment Consulting analyst Jeff Pu has cut his iPhone sales forecast for July through December from 120 million units to 114 million units.

With the iPhone 7, Apple is expected to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack and adopt a new haptic feedback home button. The 5.5-inch “iPhone 7 Plus” is expected to feature a dual-camera module for the first time.

It seems that each new iPhone launch comes with production issues that cause demand to dwarf early supply. These constraints typically extend throughout the rest of the calendar year.
