Final Fantasy Brave Exvius to Feature Ariana Grande as Guest Character
File this in the drawer of supposedly unlikely mashups that actually ended up happening. As reported by Polygon, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is set to feature Ariana Grande as a guest character. Who would’ve thunk?
This rather surprising development concerning the wildly popular mobile role-playing game was announced on New Year’s Day by the Grammy-nominated pop star herself.
On Instagram, Grande posted a picture of herself “in a room of men in suits,” apparently discussing her inclusion in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius with executives from Square Enix and Gumi, the game’s publisher and developer, respectively.
How or why Grande came to have her own character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius would probably remain an enigma to people who were not in that room, i.e., us. For what it’s worth, it probably had something to do with Grande’s being a self-proclaimed gamer.
Grande also posted an Instagram video giving “a little peek” at how her animated sprite would look and act in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. As shown in the video, the appearance of Grande’s guest character is based on the singer’s black latex Super Bunny look established on the cover of her latest album, “Dangerous Woman.”
No word yet on when Grande would make her debut in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It’s also yet unclear how players would be able to interact with Grande’s character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

With its planned addition of Grande to its roster of characters, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius joins the many mobile games that include the likenesses or otherwise boast the endorsements of celebrities, which include the likes of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and Nicki Minaj: The Empire, the eponymous celebrity of which is a featured artist on one of Grande’s singles from “Dangerous Woman.”
