Instagram is Testing a Number of New Features Including a Native Resharing Button
Instagram is apparently busy testing a number of new features in its popular photo-sharing app that may appear for everyone soon. All of the new features were recently mentioned in a roundup from The Next Web.

Another featuring in testing that may be controversial is the ability for users to add GIFs to posts or Stories. Users might also be able to search specifically for GIFs.
A Close Friends list would allow users to share content with a small group of other users.
Other features include the ability to save Stories in a personal archive, the ability to share to WhatsApp, emoji shortcut options, and more.
Just to note, just because Instagram is testing these features doesn’t mean that they’ll ever officially arrive for all users.
Instagram is designed for the iPhone. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
