The biggest improvement in the update comes in the form of add-ins that allow users to interact with other apps while using Outlook. Currently, the lineup includes Dynamics 365, Nimble, Evernote, Smartsheet, Giphy, Translator, and Trello.

To start using the add-ins head to Settings, Add-ins and then tap the “+” sign next to the add-ins you want to enable.

When you open an email, tap the special icon in the email header.

You can then launch whatever add-in you select. For example, you could save an email to Evernote, reply with Giphy, and more.

Add-ins are already available for Outlook in Windows, Mac, and on the Web.
