How good is the iPhone 7 Plus for model photography? Pro photographer Nick Pecori decided to put down his fancy DSLR camera gear and find out for himself. The results are impressive.

Pecori says he used 100-percent natural light with a little bit of editing afterwards.

Here’s what he had to say:

This was my first time trying out the new Portrait Mode offered in Apple’s iOS 10.1 exclusively for the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and boy, was I impressed with it. It created a very DSLR-like bokeh effect coupled with great quality photos in the shade.
