A number of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users on the Verizon network have been reporting issues with LTE connectivity. The news was first reported by MacRumors.

MacRumors points to a number of complaints on its own forums, Apple Support Communities, and elsewhere.

The complaints center around the iPhone losing LTE connectivity and being stuck on a 3G or 1X connection. Some users aren’t able to receive any signal at all. While obviously affecting data usage, the issue could also cause any phone call via VoLTE to be disconnected.

Users with the issue have yet to receive a firm answer from either Apple or Verizon regarding the issue. Short-term fixes including restarting the device, toggling Airplane Mode on and off, and switching off VoLTE voice calls. The latest beta software, iOS 10.1, doesn’t seem to fix the problem.

We’ll let you know if we hear any more information about the issue. Let us know in the comments if your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus is having similar issues on the Verizon network. I just received my Verizon Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus this morning, but haven’t had any issues so far.
