A new survey shows that teenagers pick iPhone over Android-based devices and it’s not even close. According to Piper Jaffray’s “Teens Survey,” a record 82 percent of American teens own an iPhone, according to Business Insider.

The survey, which twice a year questions “thousands” of kids across 40 states with an average age of 16, also found that 84 percent of respondents say their next smartphone will be an iPhone.

Last fall, 78 percent of American teenagers said they own an iPhone.

The growing popularity of iPhone could also lead to increased sales for the Apple Watch. According to Piper Jaffray, 20 percent of teenagers plan on buying an Apple Watch in the next six months.

Apple is the 2nd-most desired brand among upper-income teens, behind only Rolex, according to the survey.
