Music Streaming Service Tidal Launches on Apple TV

While the beleaguered music service may be having cash problems, Tidal has made its way to the Apple TV with a new app for the big screen.
Using the app, subscribers can listen to the entire catalog of music offered by the streaming service.
While Apple Music is obviously accessible on the Apple TV, the largest music streaming service Spotify isn’t available natively on the tvOS App Store.
Just last week, a new report said that Tidal is out of money and could shut down in six months.
Jay-Z and other artists, including Rihanna, Kanye West, Madonna, and Nicki Minaj, purchased Tidal in 2015 for $56 million. An partnership with Sprint was announced in early 2017. Sprint subscribers can access exclusive content.
