You're an intrepid explorer with a grappling hook and more than a dash of acrobatic prowess. How better, then, to transverse the rocky landscape of an underground cavern than by using your grappling hook to swing Tarzan-like over the obstacles below? Along your way you'll discover lots. Build up momentum and you'll be travelling faster than ever.

Get hooked. In this retro-style physics platformer, you have to use a grappling hook to swing from spot to spot through haunted ruins, making sure to avoid obstacles and collect treasure along the way.
Get fancy hats. To motivate you to hook high scores, Hook Champ includes achievements and leaderboards that you're challenged to unlock and conquer. There are also character upgrades and fancy hats to spend your loot on.
What is it about?
This is a classic physics platformer in which gamers must swing through "haunted ruins," catching treasure as they go, in order to succeed. There are character upgrades, support for leaderboards, and collectibles for players to pick up en route. The application also features gloriously retro pixellated graphics, and each level poses its own unique challenges.

Why we love it
This is an App Store swinging classic. We've seen the formula repeated elsewhere, but Hook Champ is the original and for this reason it's definitely worth checking out. It's feature-rich and an all-round good laugh. There's a lot to like here.
