Not Even Apple's Own Camera App Has Mobli 3's New Video Feature
March 23, 2013
Mobli 3, the new and significantly improved version of the popular photo and video sharing app Mobli, is here. And when I say "significantly improved," I do mean "significantly improved."
That's because Mobli 3 does introduce a great deal of significant improvements in various major aspects of the app.
Arguably the most interesting new feature in Mobli 3 has to do with its video-recording capability. This particular capability of the app has just gained an excellent new feature in the form of front and back camera switching.
As the Mobli team points out, not even Apple's very own camera app has this ability, that is, to alternate between the front and back cameras while recording.
Another neat new video enhancement in Mobli 3 is stop-and-go recording, which lets you pause while recording. As a result, you can now shoot videos that are similar to videos created with Vine.
Mobli 3 also adds nine new video filters in the Darkroom, a special section introduced to the app a year ago.
As for the app's photo capability, Mobli 3 brings free-form tilt shift effects, auto-enhancing filter recommendations, and location- and event-based filters.
Also added are the ability to freely rotate photos by single degrees and the ability to share panoramic photos.
In addition, Mobli 3 offers the following feed, social, and privacy features:
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch, Mobli 3 is available in the App Store for free.
