The WeatherBug app for iOS devices is changing again for the better. After unveiling a major update back in March, the app has just been bumped up to version 3.1.
Easily the biggest improvement is that the app is now universal for all iOS devices. I’m definitely glad to see that change being made.
Tablet users will also be able to take advantage of the spotlight news section featuring important and up-to-date weather information.
Weather watchers should also enjoy the new 10-day forecast in the app. Previous versions only showed a 7-day outlook.
And along with the usual slate of stability and performance improvements, the app has added thunderstorm probability and day selection buttons in the hourly forecast.
WeatherBug is a universal app for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
Available for just the iPhone, the recently updated WeatherBug Elite will set you back $2.99 for an ad-free experience.
