Evernote Update Brings A Clean And Simple Look To Match iOS 7

September 18, 2013
Just in time for the official introduction of iOS 7, popular productivity app Evernote has received a nice update. Moving up, not coincidentally, to version 7.0 brings an entirely new look to the app. Featuring a smart layout that only shows the features needed, users can quickly jump to their most recent notes from the home screen. And the new audio recorder gives space to type while listening to notes. The new version also brings faster access to the app’s most used features. Using Quicknote, a note can be taken immediately. Users can create a reminder directly from the home screen and snap a quick photo note with a single tap. A redesigned note editor also allows for faster and easier notes. Along with using AirDrop to share notes with other nearby users, the new update allows users to add arrows, shapes, and text to images and PDFs. Finally, the new background syncing capability will always keep notes up to date. Evernote is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. A premium subscription, which adds more features, costs $4.99 per month or $44.99 per year.
