The Zombie Bad Piggies Shall Rise In Angry Birds Friends' Halloween Tournament

With its latest update, Angry Birds Friends is set to kick off its special Halloween tournament. And in this tournament, you're going to have to pop pigs not once, but twice, as the Bad Piggies are all set to rise as freaky Zombie Pigs.
"A new update is here with a spooky Halloween tournament starting on October 23!" Rovio announces in the update's release notes. "Step into this ghoulish world if you dare and look out for those pesky Zombie Pigs! Plus, we’re introducing all-new custom slingshots!"
The new Halloween tournament is a one-off affair, so make sure to enter as soon as it goes live tomorrow, Oct. 23. And make sure to come prepared with your skills and power-ups if you wish to quickly do away with those creepy Zombie pigs. Take a look at them in the tournament's trailer below:

The latest update to Angry Birds Friends also introduces custom slingshots. Now, you can increase your flinging power and subsequently boost your score with a custom slingshot, which you can purchase once and keep forever.
The new version of Angry Birds Friends is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
Originally launched by Rovio as a Facebook game in February 2012 and released on iOS early last May, Angry Birds Friends adds some classic friendly competition to the classic Angry Birds gameplay, allowing players to challenge friends to play in weekly tournaments.
