We're big fans of iFixit here at AppAdvice, and this Thanksgiving weekend the popular product repair service is offering customers huge savings on repair kits. If you've ever had to repair a Lock button on your iDevice or install a new HDD in your Mac, you'll know how valuable these kits are. For Black Friday, iFixit has discounted its bundled tools by more than 50 percent in some cases.
There's a Pro Tech Toolkit and a Magnetic Project Mat for just $59.95 (52 percent off), a Macro Bit Set for $29.95 (40 percent off), and a Pro Tech Screwdriver Set also for $59.95 (33 percent off). There's also free shipping for products provided customers use the following code at checkout: CYBERWEEKEND.
Of course, besides offering repair packs for customers in its online store, iFixit also publishes repair guides online. The group also offers a "teardown" of new iDevices each and every year, providing users with an insight into the products' internals.
Besides the above offer, a number of further Black Friday deals have surfaced online. Apple is giving away Apple Store Gift Cards alongside new purchases, several U.S. retailers (including Best Buy, Target, and Walmart) are offering discounted iDevices, and even the Pebble smart watch can be picked up for $20 off.
