Check Out This Curved, iOS 7-Inspired Apple HDTV Concept
One new Apple HDTV concept imagines how the anticipated television set could look if it sported a curved display, and ran a dedicated operating system inspired heavily by Apple’s recent iOS 7.
The concept comes from Martin Hajek, who has provided iDevice users with a number of interesting iOS-related concepts in the past (including this gold iPad mini design). After checking out Andrew Ambrosino’s Apple HDTV concept, which we discussed earlier this month, Hajek decided to combine it with his own work to create a single mash-up concept that incorporated the best aspects of each.
As you can see, the resulting concept imagines an iMac-like Apple HDTV with a curved screen, which runs an operating system inspired by iOS 7. There’s a dock along base of the television screen providing access to a number of app icons, and pop-up notifications appear in the top-right of the HDTV à la OS X.

As a reminder, recent analysis predicts an Apple HDTV to appear in 2015, following the launch of an anticipated “iWatch” next year. The long-rumored Apple-made TV set could offer users a 4K display, and it would be expected to feature a number of iOS-inspired features such as Messages and Mail apps, as well as a Safari Web browsing application. Plus, the inclusion of Siri could provide users with hands-free access to the television set.
We’ll keep you updated with further information as we receive it.
