Google’s impressive Search app for iOS devices has just been updated to version 3.2 with the addition of a number of new features.
Along with responding faster, the new update offers users an iOS 7 inspired design and true full-screen browsing capabilities. It definitely looks great on my iPad Air as the full-screen search box greets you when starting the app.
Image search on the iPad version of the app is also faster and more fluid.
The release notes also promise smarter integration with the Google Maps app, if it is installed.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Google Search can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
Earlier this month, Google announced that users can ask questions and receive answers in French, German, and Japanese. Before that, version 3.1 landed in November, focusing on improving Google Now as users can simply say “OK, Google” to begin a voice search with the app pulled up.
