Gun Zombie 2 Blasts Into The US App Store, Offers 'Intense' Shooting Experience For iOS

Following the app's soft launch in the Canadian App Store a couple of months ago, Glu Games has made Gun Zombie 2 available in the United States. Offering fans of the original application, Gun Zombie, a “bigger, badder, and better” experience, Gun Zombie 2 can be downloaded free of charge and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Publisher Glu Games explains in the app's release notes, “After an explosion rocks a major city, zombie hordes started to appear out of nowhere and terrorize the human race. Now you need to infiltrate the zombie-infested city, locate the outbreak, and blast the undead out of existence.”
Fortunately, as its name suggests Gun Zombie 2 makes a large arsenal available for iDevice users to utilize, and more than 30 realistic guns allow gamers to lay waste to the zombie hoard in the application's first-person shooter (FPS) mode of gameplay.
Besides an impressive selection of weapons, Gun Zombie 2 also offers iDevice users a large number of campaign scenarios, a selection of zombie bosses to take down, and the chance to compete with friends against endless waves of zombies.

Best of all, Gun Zombie 2 can be downloaded free of charge. However, prospective users should be aware that non-essential in-app purchases feature in the app; though Gun Zombie 2 isn't exactly a child-friendly game, parents can of course disable in-app purchases in their iDevice's Settings application. If you're a fan of taking down the undead, some recent additions to this genre of iOS game include Pocket Avenger, DEAD TRIGGER 2, and Infectonator: Hot Chase.
