Apple Updates Podcasts App With Pull-To-Refresh Support For Subscriptions Plus Fixes

Apple has just issued an update to Podcasts, its official podcast app for iOS.
While the update is largely a maintenance one, it does introduce a new feature in the form of pull-to-refresh. Yup, at long last, Podcasts now supports the pull-to-refresh mechanism.
Gone is the refresh button for refreshing subscriptions in the app's My Podcasts section. In its stead is a pull-to-refresh gesture and animation tandem similar to that of Apple's Mail app. As shown in the screenshot above, the app also shows when your subscriptions were last updated as you pull to refresh.

The new version of Podcasts is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later. Podcasts was updated and redesigned for iOS 7 three months ago, alongside iTunes Movie Trailers and Find My iPhone. Earlier today, Apple also updated the iOS editions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote with the ability to share password-protected documents via iCloud links and other improvements.
