Cydia Tweak: Here's The Easiest Way Of Closing All Your Open Safari Tabs At Once
If you’re a big Safari for iOS user, you’ll probably have found that there’s no quick and convenient way of closing down all of your Safari tabs. Though workarounds have surfaced online since iOS 7 launched, one new jailbreak tweak has now made it possible for users to kill all suspended Safari tabs in one fell swoop.
The new package is appropriately called CloseAll, and this is precisely what it does in relation to Safari iOS tabs. You can download the jailbreak tweak free of charge in the Cydia Store, and it’s optimized for both iOS 7 and ARM64-iDevices; after you’ve got the jailbreak tweak installed on your iOS device, mass-closing Safari tabs is as simple as holding down a finger on an in-app virtual button.
Specifically, you’ll need to hold down your finger on the “x” button, which appears in the top-left corner of Safari tabs when you’re browsing through Web pages in “fan mode.” Rather than touching the button to kill just one tab, however, CloseAll allows users to hold a finger down on this “x” in order to close all open Safari tabs.
As someone who surfs the Web predominantly from a pair of iOS devices, this is definitely a jailbreak tweak that’ll come in handy for me. Not only is it annoying to find a bunch of suspended tabs in the Safari app, but the ensuing chore of having to close down each Web page one by one is positively mind-numbing.
It might be a simple package, but CloseAll is nevertheless a really useful jailbreak tweak.
You can pick up CloseAll free of charge in the Cydia Store, and as mentioned it’s fully optimized for iOS 7 and ARM64-iDevices.
As a reminder, some of our favorite recent additions to the Cydia Store include Mesalation, StatusModifier, and iSilent-iOS7.
