Toca Boca, developer of a number of wonderful children’s apps, has just made one of its top titles free in the App Store.
As the name suggests, Toca Doctor lets younger children become a doctor for a day. With 21 fun puzzles and mini-games to solve that take place inside the human body, the app offers hours of fun. It’s easily one of my 6-year-old daughter’s favorite apps.
Along with the colorful and beautiful artwork, there are no rules or stress in the game. Kids can play any way they want to.
Toca Doctor is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch while Toca Doctor HD is for the iPad/iPad mini. Both versions of the app had previously been $2.99, so this is a great deal.
And if your kids are hungry for a new Toca Boca app to try out, they won’t have to wait much longer. Toca Pet Doctor will arrive in the App Store on Thursday, Feb. 27.
Designed for kids ages 2-6, the app will guide children through different activities to take care of the animals. When the animals are healed, they go back to sleep, but kids can wake them up and play again.
Some of the 15 fun and lively animals in the app include a dog, turtle, snail, earthworm, and iguana.
Here’s a quick trailer from the new app. Click here if you can’t see it.
