Warhammer 40,000: Storm Of Vengeance Delayed For Release Until Next Week
March 27, 2014
A month ago, Eutechnyx announced that it had scheduled Warhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance for release on March 27. That date happens to be today. But you won't be seeing the new lane defense strategy game based on Games Worskhop‘s popular Warhammer fantasy war-game franchise in the App Store today nor anytime in the following week.
That's because Eutechnyx has just pushed the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance to a week later, on Thursday, April 3.

In addition to the new release date, Eutechnyx has announced a number of items that will be available as downloadable content (DLC) when the game is launched. "This includes new unit types like the jetpack-equipped Ork Stormboy, the powerful Dark Angel Dreadnought, and the Deathwing Terminator who can teleport in additional units to help in battle," Touch Arcade notes. "Besides new unit types, there will also be new Ork skins available."
Each DLC pack is expected to go for $0.99, while the game itself is going to be available in the App Store for $4.99. As mentioned, Warhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance has been rescheduled to be released on Thursday, April 3.
Aside from Warhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance, also out on iOS later this year from the Warhammer universe are the turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon, the turn-based tactical combat game Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf, and the action adventure game Eisenhorn: Xenos.
