Facebook Pages Manager 3.0 Introduces New Features For Page Admins

April 4, 2014
Facebook has just updated Facebook Pages Manager to version 3.0 with several notable improvements. For one thing, Facebook Pages Manager 3.0 gives admins the ability to pin posts they want to highlight to the top of the Page Timeline. Of course, it also includes the ability to unpin posts. The update also lets admins set photos on the Page Timeline and photo albums into profile pictures. Moreover, it lets them create and edit events on the app's iPad edition. And for admins in the U.S., the app allows them to import their phone contacts and invite them to like their Pages. According to its release notes, Facebook Pages Manager 3.0 also brings the ability to send feedback and report problems by shaking the device. But in my testing, this doesn't appear to be the case. In any case, Facebook Pages Manager 3.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Last December, Facebook Pages Manager was redesigned for iOS 7 and updated with support for tagging other pages in the sharing tool and tagging people in comments. Then, last January, it was updated with the ability to schedule photo posts. Earlier today, Facebook also updated Facebook Messenger with support for free VoIP calls.
