Angry Birds Go! Update Makes Kart Racing Even More Fun

May 7, 2014
Fun, and addictive, kart racer Angry Birds Go! has just received its second major update. And version 1.3 is full of some great new features. Most importantly, racers will be pleased to see new tracks for the Sub-Zero episode, which was originally introduced with an update in March. Gamers can also take advantage of new weekly tournaments to compete against their friends. With the new action snapshots feature, racers can share some photos of their on-track action. Finally, along with new lucky boxes that are packed with interesting prizes, kart fans can also send lucky boxes to their friends. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Angry Birds Go! can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. As usual, there are a number of in app-purchase opportunities available. The highly anticipated game originally landed in December. In our original review, Daniel Celeste came away impressed, saying the freemium title was a “great thrill to play.” Angry Birds Go! also received the Honorable Mention title in our AppAdvice App of the Week contest shortly after its release.
