How Does Apple's Bigger, 4.7-Inch iPhone 6 Compare With Previous iPhone Models?

Mockups for Apple's anticipated iPhone 6 have appeared in a number of images and videos, and now one YouTube user has put together an interesting video comparing a dummy iPhone 6 handset with all of Apple's previous generation iPhones.

The video (via 9to5mac) is embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Take a look and see what you think:

The video definitely makes for interesting viewing, even if it does show us more of what we think we already know. The mockup is that of a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 handset which is thinner than the current-generation iPhone 5s; it also features a couple of antenna breaks at the back and a relocated power button.

Of course, this all falls in line with recent iPhone 6 reports. We've also heard that a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 handset could launch later this year, too, though supply chain rumors have indicated that the bigger smartphone has suffered delays and will appear after its 4.7-inch counterpart.

It's hoped that Apple's bigger iPhones will satisfy the demographic of iOS users presently calling for a “phablet” sized handset. The new smartphone should be announced at a dedicated media event in September; before this, Apple will preview iOS 8 (its next-generation mobile operating system) next month at WWDC.
