Real Racing 3, the popular racing game developed by Firemonkeys and published by Electronic Arts, has just been updated in celebration of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world's oldest active sports car endurance race. As a result, Real Racing 3 now features next-generation Le Mans prototypes, namely, Porsche’s 919 Hybrid, Audi's R18 e-tron Quattro, and Toyota's TS040 Hybrid. It now also includes a new Le Mans campaign and, of course, the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans itself to test your racing limits. In addition, the latest update to Real Racing 3 introduces a new Porsche time trial competition wherein you can race your Porsche 919 Hybrid to win a trip to a Porsche sport driving school. Finally, the update delivers improvements to the game's real-time multiplayer feature, including penalties for cutting corners, better results calculations, and improved latency handling. The new version of Real Racing 3 is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1.1 or later. Real Racing 3 received its last major update last month, thereby gaining support for open wheelers, an expanded roster, and other enhancements.
