Botanicula, The Impressive Point-And-Click Adventure, Is On Sale For A Limited Time
On the hunt for a new iPad game? Consider Botanicula, a fun botanical point-and-click adventure app for Apple’s tablet, which is available to download at a reduced price for a limited time only.
Usually priced at $4.99, iPad owners can download Botanicula for just $2.99 right now as part of the developer’s summer sale. It’s a fully-featured, high-quality application that first launched on the App Store at the beginning of May.
At the time, we explained that Botanicula sees “five friends, little tree creatures, set out on a journey to save the last seed from their home tree which is infested by evil parasites,” according to the developer.
It’s an iPad port of a 2012 Mac App Store title, and in her review of the game, Christine praised Botanicula’s story, visuals, and characters.
She concluded:
I believe that this is a game that is worth picking up, just because the world is beautiful, the characters are endearing, and it’s quite a captivating point-and-click adventure with challenging puzzles to solve.
If you’re looking to take Botanicula for a spin, act fast: the app can indeed be downloaded at a reduced price, but we’re not sure how long the sale is going to last.
Botanicula is available for $2.99 on the App Store and is optimized for the iPad only, requiring iOS 4.3 or above.
