Asphalt 8: Airborne goes to Dubai, gets updated with improved Twitch integration
Gameloft has just released another significant update to its flagship mobile racing game, Asphalt 8: Airborne.
First and foremost, the latest update to Asphalt 8: Airborne introduces a new location. Specifically, it invites you to “tear up the asphalt” and “leave your rivals in the dust” through exotic new tracks in Dubai, the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (and rumored location of Apple’s largest retail store yet).
The update also brings five new cars, including the Mercedes-Benz Biome concept car and the Nissan GT-R NISMO. Moreover, it sees the arrival of the game’s ninth season, which comprises 74 events.

The new version of Asphalt 8: Airborne also comes with improved integration with the newly Amazon-acquired gaming-focused video streaming platform, Twitch. Initially optimized for iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display (i.e., A7-powered devices), the game’s Twitch integration is now available on iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and fourth-generation iPad as well.
The new version of Asphalt 8: Airborne is available now on the App Store for free.
Asphalt 8: Airborne was previously updated last June with new cars and other enhancements.
