Instagram users can now edit captions and more with a new update

November 10, 2014

Popular photo-sharing social network Instagram has just updated its Phone app with a trio of new features.

Most importantly, in version 6.2.0, users can now edit their captions to fix typos or change their location.

With the new People tab in the Explore section, Instagram has also made it simple to find interesting accounts to follow.

Along with a number of new icons and other design updates, search results will appear faster with a typehead search functionality.

Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Instagram can be downloaded now from the App Store for free.

The app was updated back in mid-October with optimization for the higher resolution of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets.

Video advertisements from big name companies like Activision and Disney started to appear on Instagram late last month.
