ShopKeep point-of-sale iPad app updated with predefined discounting and more
ShopKeep, the popular point-of-sale (POS) solution for iPad, has just been updated with several significant features.
Perhaps most notable among the new features of ShopKeep is the ability to define named presets for quickly and easily applying discounts on purchased items. This, of course, comes with manager verification constraints for cashiers.
Another new ShopKeep feature that involves manager verification constraints for cashiers is the new one for voiding saved line items and transactions.
Also introduced in the new version of ShopKeep is a new option that enables BackOffice users to override the global tax rate at the stock item level and another that enables employees to view their sales performance reports organized by shift.
Finally, the latest update to ShopKeep lets managers set whether customer delivery information (including name, address, and phone number) is printed on tickets, checks, and receipts, given the requisite privacy considerations.
Shopkeep received its previous major update three months ago, thereby gaining gift card integration and new check options.
