Toca Boca’s latest children’s app, Toca Nature, will arrive in the App Store later this week

November 11, 2014

Toca Boca, a spectacular developer of children’s apps, has recently announced that its latest title will land later this week on Thursday, Nov. 13.

Toca Nature will head to the great outdoors. Here’s the complete gameplay trailer. Click here if you can’t see it.

As you can see, kids can shape their own nature reserve and watch it grow and develop. And it also features a number of fun animals, like foxes and bears, which are sure to please younger gamers.

Like other apps from Toca Boca, think of Toca Nature as more of a sandbox for children’s creativity. There is no set start or finish, and there is no way to “win.” It’s all about having fun.

If you can’t wait until Thursday, the developer also has a number of other kid-friendly titles on the App Store. One of the favorites around my house is Toca Robot Lab, which was updated in September with new levels and new parts to build with. It will set you back $2.99 and is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini.

And if you’re looking for more than just one app, also take a look at a new bundle from the developer. The Toca Starter Box is $9.99 and comes with six fun children’s apps. Purchasing the bundle saves almost $8 compared to buying each of the apps separately.
