LinkedIn has managed to slide in one last update for the year to the official iOS app of its popular presentation service, SlideShare.
Released in early October, the app, aptly called SlideShare Presentations, lets you browse, view, save and share the service’s comprehensive collection of professional presentations, infographics, and videos across different categories.
Primarily, the app shows a personalized feed of presentations uploaded and liked across your LinkedIn network and taken from your preferred categories.
And with its latest update, SlideShare Presentations has gained new social features that let you better discover and interact with other users and their presentations. The new version of the app enables you to:
- View other people’s profile and content on SlideShare
- Click on author in home feed to see all other presentations
- Follow authors and people who interest you
- View list of your followers and who you are following
The new version of SlideShare Presentations also include a new setting for toggling notifications. The app provides notifications when someone in your network uploads a new presentation.
The latest update to SlideShare Presentations also delivers bug fixes and other optimizations.
