Rovio celebrates Angry Birds' 5th BirdDay with new levels inspired by fan art
Today is Dec. 11. And if you’re a true-blue Angry Birds fan, you should already know that today is the fifth anniversary, or rather, “BirdDay” of Rovio’s original bird-flinging and pig-popping physics-based puzzle game.
And by way of throwing a birthday party for players, Rovio has released an update that adds new Angry Birds levels inspired by artwork submitted by fans:
We’ve reviewed thousands of level ideas submitted by our super talented fan artists. You’ve really outdone yourselves! We’ve chosen the best ones to turn into playable levels. The results are in. The levels have been made. Nothing to do now but play them!

Angry Birds for iPhone and Angry Birds HD for iPad are available on the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
The original Angry Birds game was previously updated in July with “Flock Favorites,” a bonus episode featuring new levels based on fan-favorite levels.
Earlier this month, Rovio updated Angry Birds Seasons with a new Finland-themed “On Finn Ice” holiday episode and Angry Birds Star Wars II with a new “Revenge of the Pork” chapter.
