Microsoft optimizes Xbox One SmartGlass for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
Microsoft has just issued a small yet nonetheless notable update to Xbox One SmartGlass, particularly for users of Apple’s latest smartphones.
Xbox One SmartGlass is the official iOS companion app of Xbox One, Microsoft’s flagship home entertainment console. With the app, you can control your Xbox One, explore content to play, and stay connected with other gamers using your iOS device.
As mentioned, Xbox One SmartGlass has just received a new update.
The update delivers the usual bug fixes. But more notably, it also brings full resolution support for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. This means that if you have either device, you can enjoy using the app with clearer and sharper text, images, and other UI elements.
This update to Xbox One SmartGlass follows several other notable updates that Microsoft has released this month to its other iOS apps.
Earlier this month, the tech giant updated OneDrive with new features (while expanding the international availability of Office Sway), Skype for iPhone with quicker calling (while launching a prerelease program for Skype for iOS), and OneNote for iPhone with a Today widget and recent notes access.
