Sports fans rejoice. The popular ESPN app has just been updated to version 4.3 featuring Apple Watch support and more.

With the watch app, sports fans can view real-time notifications on scoring plays and breaking news for their favorite teams. You can also take a look at live scores and upcoming matchups featuring your favorite squads. A left swipe on the watch will bring up articles about your favorites.

The updated app also brings a new feature for iPad users – portrait support. The News and Now sections of the app have also been optimized to load faster.

ESPN is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

Back in February, ESPN unveiled one main app for all iOS devices. Version 4.2 also brought optimization for the higher resolution screens of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. I’m really happy to see the Apple Watch app arrive as well.
