SwiftKey updated with a new theme and redesigned Settings menu
A great alternative to the stock keyboard on your iPhone or iPad, SwiftKey has just added two nice features in an update to version 1.4.3.
A new theme
First up, a new theme has arrived. Aptly called Bubble Gum, the dynamic theme offers pale blue and pink keys. After selecting a key, pink, blue, and yellow bubbles float behind the keyboard and fall with real gravity depending on how the phone is tilted. The theme can be unlocked with a $1.99 in-app purchase.
The app now also features a redesigned Settings menu. Along with being able to more easily find the setting you’re needing, any usage stats now appear on the SwiftKey homescreen.
Wrapup
Earlier this month, the app was updated to support the more than 180 new emoji supported in iOS 9.1.
SwiftKey is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and the iPad and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. You can purchase a number of other keyboard themes with in-app purchases.
I took an in-depth look at SwiftKey in an AppAdvice App Smackdown earlier this year, and am glad to see the app continue to get even better. Definitely check it out.
