Final Draft Writer, the official iPad companion app for reading and writing Final Draft scripts, has just been treated to a major update.

Eight months after it was launched in the App Store as an iPad-only app, Final Draft Reader has finally been update with native iPhone support.

A long two years in the making, Final Draft Writer for iPad is, finally, now showing in the App Store.

The popular Final Draft reader for iPad, FDX Reader, has recently received an update. Now, the application is a universal app, meaning it's compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Furthermore, the app has received a price-drop, and is now available to download for just $4.99.

FDX Reader ($7.99) is a recently released iPad app that allows users to read Final Draft files on the go.

Spring 2011. This is the time frame that the company Final Draft has teasingly broadcast to their users that their long awaited app will finally come to be.
