After yesterday’s special iPhone X media event, Apple quietly raised prices on the 256 and 512GB versions of both the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro by $50.
According to 9to5Mac the price hike was due to rising costs of NAND flash memory:
Sources in the know tell us that the increase in price for the high-capacity iPad Pro models is due to a dramatic increase in the cost of NAND flash storage.
The 256 and 512GB model of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro now retail for $799 and $999 respectively. On the larger model, the 256GB version is $949 while the 512GB edition is $1,149.
