Facebook's Discover People Feature Rolling Out to iOS App Users
Facebook’s new Discover People feature is currently rolling out to all users of the iOS app. As first noted by TechCrunch, the section is designed increase connections between Facebook users.

Credit: TechCrunchTo see if the section has been enabled for you, head to the navigation bar on the bottom right hand of the app.
After selecting Discover People, you’ll be asked to introduce yourself by updating any missing parts of your current profile.
Then, you’ll see a lust of upcoming events that you’re interested in, plan to attend, or have been invited to. Selecting an event while show the profiles of people attending.
Finally, the bottom part of the section, you can browse people who live in your town or work at your company. Only public information is displayed.
Facebook is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
And the social networking giant is looking to expand to another Apple device in the near future. Earlier this week, news arrived that a Facebook app for the Apple TV and other streaming devices is in the works.
Instead of just viewing your News Feed on the big screen, the unnamed app could include long-form “TV-like” content of up to 10 minutes in length. It could feature scripted shows, sports, and entertainment content created specifically for the platform as Facebook is looking to become a video-first company.
